Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 15 April 2026
These terms set out the agreement between you and Relay Community Ltd ("Relay", "we", "us", "our") when you visit joinrelay.community, join our private community, or use any related service. Please read them carefully — by using the service you agree to be bound by them.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the service.
1. About us
Relay Community Ltd is a private limited company registered in England and Wales.
- Registered office: [TBC — registered address]
- Company number: [TBC]
- Contact: hello@joinrelay.community
2. Eligibility
To use Relay you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be a resident of the United Kingdom.
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
- Use the service only for lawful purposes, in line with these terms.
Relay is a UK-only private alpha. It is not intended for use outside the UK, and we do not guarantee the service is available, accurate or lawful in other jurisdictions.
3. What Relay provides
Relay is an informational and educational service for people active in trading card, trainer, ticket and related UK resale markets. Depending on your access level, the service may include:
- Custom monitors and real-time restock alerts across participating UK retailers.
- Access to a private community for discussion and knowledge sharing.
- Educational content, guides and 1:1 coaching sessions.
- Tools that assist with research, tracking and analysis of resale opportunities.
Relay is currently in a private alpha. Features may change, be added, or be withdrawn as the product evolves. We'll communicate material changes but we don't guarantee that any particular feature will remain available.
4. What Relay is not
Relay is an information and community service. It is not:
- A financial adviser, broker, or investment service. Nothing we publish is financial advice.
- A guarantee of profit or success. Resale markets involve risk and outcomes depend on your own actions, timing and market conditions.
- A purchasing agent. Relay does not buy products on your behalf; you remain responsible for every transaction you make.
- A substitute for your own due diligence on retailer terms, platform policies, UK consumer law, tax obligations and any licensing that may apply to your activity.
5. Your account and membership
Access to the paid parts of Relay is provided through our membership partner, Whop. When you sign up through Whop:
- You agree to Whop's own terms and privacy policy for the account and payment flow.
- You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
- You must not share your access with anyone else — each membership is for one person only.
We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you've breached these terms, misused the service, or put other members at risk.
6. Billing, refunds and cancellation
All payments are processed by Whop. The price, billing frequency and any trial details are shown on the checkout page before you confirm your purchase. Refund eligibility is set out in Whop's refund policy and, where applicable, in the specific membership description.
Under UK consumer law you may have a 14-day cooling-off right for digital services. If you access Relay immediately on signing up, you're agreeing that delivery of the service begins within the cooling-off period, which may end that right early. You can cancel your membership at any time through Whop.
7. Acceptable use
When using Relay you agree not to:
- Share, resell or republish alerts, tools or any other Relay content outside the private community.
- Scrape, copy, reverse-engineer, mirror or build a derivative service from any part of Relay.
- Use automated tools to access the site or its API beyond the access we provide through our official products.
- Harass, abuse, impersonate or defraud other members, or otherwise behave in a way that damages the community.
- Use the service to break any UK law, retailer terms, platform policies, or applicable resale and tax rules.
Breach of this section may result in immediate termination of your access, with no refund, and may be reported to the relevant authorities where appropriate.
8. Your responsibilities as a reseller
If you use Relay to inform resale activity, you are solely responsible for:
- Complying with the terms of every retailer, ticketing platform, and marketplace you interact with.
- Meeting any HMRC reporting and tax obligations that apply to your activity — Relay does not provide tax advice.
- Understanding and following any legislation relevant to what you're buying and selling, including but not limited to ticket resale rules and consumer protection law.
9. Intellectual property
Relay and its licensors own all rights in the service, including the site, the Relay brand and logo, the software, the alerts feed, tools and any written content we produce. Third-party brand marks shown on the site (including retailer and market logos) remain the property of their respective owners and are shown for identification purposes only.
Subject to your compliance with these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use Relay for your own personal, non-commercial use. All other rights are reserved.
10. Third-party services and links
Relay links to and integrates with third-party services — including retailers, marketplaces, community tooling and our membership partner. We don't control those services, we don't endorse their content, and we're not responsible for their availability, accuracy or conduct. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that service's own terms.
11. Disclaimers
Relay is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. Without limiting your statutory rights, we make no warranties or representations that:
- The service will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at any particular time.
- Alerts will be timely, accurate, or exhaustive — monitors depend on third-party systems that can fail, change, or rate limit without notice.
- Using Relay will result in any particular financial, commercial or personal outcome.
12. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything that UK law does not allow us to exclude.
Subject to that, Relay's total liability to you in any 12-month period for all claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us for that period, or (b) £100. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, special or punitive damages, lost profits, lost opportunities, or missed alerts.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Relay against any claims, losses or costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the service, or your breach of any third-party rights.
14. Termination
You may stop using Relay at any time by cancelling your membership through Whop. We may suspend or end your access at any time if you breach these terms, if we stop offering the service, or for any other reason we reasonably consider necessary. Clauses that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and governing law) will continue to apply.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision. If the changes are material we'll give registered users reasonable notice by email. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect counts as acceptance.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute you have with Relay will be dealt with exclusively by the courts of England and Wales, except that if you are a consumer you may have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of the country in which you live.
17. Contact
If you have questions about these terms, email [TBC — support inbox]. For complaints or disputes, please reach out first so we can try to resolve things informally.
